This Refund, Return, and Exchange Policy (this \u201cPolicy\u201d) explains how returns, exchanges, refunds, and order cancellations are handled when you purchase from Tangabula LLC (\u201cTangabula,\u201d \u201cwe,\u201d \u201cus,\u201d or \u201cour\u201d), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Minnesota, through the website located at tangabula.com (the \u201cSite\u201d). This Policy applies to orders placed and delivered within the United States and Canada. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out below.<\/p>

This Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our\u00a0Terms and Conditions<\/a>, our\u00a0Privacy Policy<\/a>, our\u00a0Shipping and Delivery Policy<\/a>, and our\u00a0Cookie Policy<\/a>, each of which is available on the Site. Where this Policy refers to how we collect or use your personal information during a return, our Privacy Policy governs. Where it refers to payment, order acceptance, or how disputes are resolved, our Terms and Conditions govern. Where it refers to how orders are shipped, delivered, or tracked, our Shipping and Delivery Policy governs. Our collections are produced in small, ready-to-wear batches and held in limited quantities. For that reason, all sales are final by default, and we do not accept returns or offer refunds for reasons of personal preference, a change of mind, or an incorrect size selected at checkout. The exceptions to this rule are set out in Section 3 (Eligible Returns) and Section 6 (Exchanges), and nothing in this Policy limits any right you may have under applicable law that cannot be waived.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We will accept a return in the following limited circumstances: you received the wrong item, your item arrived damaged, or your item has a verified manufacturing defect. To be considered, the issue must be reported within seventy-two (72) hours of the delivery date shown by the carrier, and your request must include your order number and clear photographs showing the item and the problem. Requests submitted after this window, or without the required order number and photographs, may not be eligible.<\/p>

Once we receive your request, we will review it and let you know whether it qualifies before you send anything back. Items returned without prior authorization may be refused and returned to you at your expense.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Certain items cannot be returned or exchanged except where they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect as described in Section 3 and Section 7. These include all jewelry, which is non-returnable for reasons of hygiene and handling; final sale, clearance, and promotional or discounted items; customized, personalized, altered, or special-order items; gift cards and store credit; and any item that has been worn, washed, altered, or is not in its original condition. We will identify final sale items on the applicable product page at the time of purchase.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

To qualify for a refund, exchange, or store credit, an authorized returned item must reach us unworn, unwashed, and unaltered, with all original tags attached, and free of stains, odors, perfume, deodorant marks, makeup, pet hair, and any other signs of use. Items that do not meet these requirements may be refused and returned to you, or accepted at our discretion for a partial refund or reduced store credit as described in Section 8. We inspect every returned item before issuing any refund, exchange, or credit.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

If you would like a different size or color of the same item, you may request an exchange within five (5) days of delivery, subject to availability. Exchanges are not guaranteed and depend on current stock at the time your request is reviewed. To request one, follow the steps in Section 9. If the size or color you want is available, we will reserve it and provide return instructions for your original item. If it is unavailable, we will issue store credit instead, which you may apply toward any future purchase.<\/p>

Unless the exchange arises because the item was damaged, defective, or incorrect, you are responsible for the cost of returning the original item to us. The replacement item is dispatched once your original item has been received and inspected and confirmed to meet the condition requirements in Section 5.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We inspect and pack every order with care, but if your item arrives damaged, defective, or is not the item you ordered, we will make it right. Please contact us within seventy-two (72) hours of delivery support@tangabula.com with your order number, a short description of the problem, and clear photographs showing the issue. We may ask a few follow-up questions to confirm the details.<\/p>

For a confirmed damaged, defective, or incorrect item, you may choose, where possible, a replacement of the same item, a full refund to your original payment method, or store credit. We cover the cost of return shipping for these items and will provide a prepaid label or reimburse reasonable return postage. Refunds to your original payment method are issued only where the fault is ours, meaning your item was damaged, defective, or incorrect as described in Section 7, or where a refund is otherwise required by applicable law. For all other authorized returns, the resolution is store credit or, where stock allows, an exchange under Section 6. Store credit is issued to the account or email associated with your order, may be used toward any future purchase on tangabula.com, and does not expire. Items purchased using store credit are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.<\/p>

We may issue a partial refund or reduced store credit where an authorized item is returned in a condition that falls short of the requirements in Section 5 but that we choose to accept, or where components, tags, or packaging are missing. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where the fault is ours. Please include your order number, the item or items involved, the reason for your request, and, for any damage, defect, or incorrect-item claim, clear photographs showing the issue. We will review your request and, if it is approved, send you return instructions and, where applicable, a shipping label. Do not ship any item to us until you have received authorization; unauthorized returns may be refused.<\/p>

For all other authorized returns and exchanges, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable and, where available, insured shipping method for any item you send back to us, and keeping your tracking number until your return is resolved. Our return and exchange terms apply to orders delivered to Canada in the same way they apply to orders within the United States, with the following differences. The reporting windows in this Policy are measured from the delivery date shown by the carrier, and you should allow additional time for return transit. Unless your item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect \u2014 in which case we cover return shipping as described in Section 7 \u2014 you are responsible for return shipping costs and for any duties, taxes, or brokerage fees incurred in returning an item across the border, which are not refundable. Refunds, where due, and store credit are issued in U.S. dollars; your bank or card issuer sets any currency conversion and may apply its own fees. We recommend a trackable and, where available, insured return method, as an authorized return remains your responsibility until it reaches us and is inspected.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

After we receive an authorized return, we inspect it within three (3) to five (5) business days. If a refund to your original payment method is approved, we process it promptly after inspection; depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional five (5) to ten (10) business days for the funds to appear on your statement. Store credit is issued after inspection is complete. For approved exchanges, the replacement item is dispatched once your original item has been received, inspected, and confirmed to meet our condition requirements, and you will receive tracking information when it ships.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Because we aim to process orders quickly, cancellation requests must be received before your order enters processing or is dispatched, whichever comes first. If your order has already been processed or handed to the carrier, it cannot be cancelled and will be treated under this Policy once delivered. We make every effort to display our products accurately, but the actual color of an item may vary slightly from what appears on your screen because of photography, lighting, and differences in device displays. Such variations do not qualify as defects. For garments made from traditional and contemporary African textiles and other patterned fabrics, slight variations in color, weave, print placement, texture, and finish may occur from piece to piece and are natural characteristics of each garment rather than a fault.
